Fees and Cancellation Information

 

Fees (as of 1st January 2024)

At Level One Psychology we strive to provide a quality service for a reasonable and affordable fee.  Our rates for our psychologists and mental health social worker are presented below. The practitioner may also choose to amend the rate based on client circumstances. Please email us at admin@levelonepsychology.com for further details and for rates for sport and performance psychology services.

Consult fee for our psychologists in clinic are $180 (rebate with a Mental Health Care Plan is $93.35 per session).

Consult fee for our mental health social worker in clinic is $160 (rebate with a Mental Health Care Plan is $82.30 per session).

Fees will differ if you are a DVA, WorkCover QLD, or NDIS client, or if you are referred by another insurer. This is due to the fact that each organisation has a separate fee structure related to their services or that some of these services require additional reporting. 

 

Our fees are well below the fees recommended by the Australian Psychological Society National Schedule of Recommended Fees (currently $300 per hour session). There may be some reductions in fees for some clients. However, this is rare and at the discretion of the practitioner.

Cancellation Policy

​

If clients are unable to attend and we are provided with sufficient notice (over 24 hours) before the scheduled appointment, then no cancellation fee is applied. This also enables us to offer the appointment time to other individuals who are waiting to access support. However, if clients cancel within 24 hours of their scheduled appointment or fail to attend their scheduled appointment, 50% of the full scheduled fee will be charged.
